Guest presenter, Carol Yarbrough. Carol is a healthcare compliance and reimbursement specialist. Providing a unique background in legal, technology, revenue management, clinic management and both federal and state regulations, for the past four years, she has actively contributed to telehealth initiatives at UC Health. She works hands-on with professional fee and hospital-based fee professionals to implement billing strategies and provides real-time feedback to clinicians regarding documentation and staff with encounter guidance. She also trains CPT coding professionals at UC Medical Center in order to maximize EMR workflow with greater documentation and coding understanding. Our other presenter is Michelle Hager who the managing partner at Blue Cirrus Consulting. For the past 7 years she has dedicated her efforts to the development of Telehealth strategies for healthcare. She is active in her local HIMSS chapter where she currently holds the role of South Carolina Chapter President. She has worked diligently through HIMSS to educate the industry and the public on Healthcare IT policy and future IT strategic directions, including Telehealth policy.
