Christie has been an agent of change and dot connecter spearheading quality and process improvement initiatives across multiple healthcare settings. Her recent focus has been in digital transformation efforts to improve clinical communications within the care team and leverage technology to connect patients to the right care and right person at the right place and right time. Notably, Christie led a large University Health Network through a culture transition from pagers to direct, secure, collaborative messaging and then in the wake of COVID led teams charged with the overnight pivot of 300+ ambulatory sites to virtual care and implementing workflows to efficiently capture revenue. The efforts resulted in patient retention of 30% above industry benchmarks during the COVID-19 peaks. Christie is a certified coder and compliance officer through the AAPC. She holds a Bachelor’s in Health Management and a Master’s in Health Administration.
