Joe Wechsler is the CEO of VirtuAlly.io – a Virtual Care service provider that primarily focusses on Virtual Nursing and Telesitting. With over 100 employees across multiple states serving hospitals and Health Systems of all shapes and sizes, VirtuAlly is recognized as a leader in the evolution of virtual care. Born out of an Academic Medical Center’s leading Telehalth program – the only of its kind – VirtuAlly is evidenced based and clinical at its core.
Joe has over 20 years of leadership experience in both large organizations & the entrepreneurial environment, with extensive experience in driving large scale, transformation initiatives and a unique ability to manage & motivate diverse project teams. Joe’s core strengths lay in strategic planning and execution, project and program management, organizational transformation, and M&A integration planning & management.
Joe spent the majority of his career in management consulting, leading strategic engagements in the healthcare provider industry, working with the highest-level executives at organizations ranging from small private practices to community hospitals to super-regional academic medical centers. Prior industry experience includes manufacturing and distribution, construction management, and financial services.
Joe earned an MBA from Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, during which he completed an exchange program at SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy, and a BA in Economics Management and Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University. Joe has successfully founded and sold or exited several businesses throughout his career, and has extensive international experience, having lived in three and worked across nearly 35 countries abroad.
